How to view and manage responses?

"Is there a way to mark a form as Approved/Declined after it has been submitted?"- Google Docs Editors Community

This is a common question from Google Forms users who act on what they receive. For example, you might take orders or registrations on a form and each one has to move from received to done. Google Forms only lists the responses and you cannot mark who has been served. So you copy them to a spreadsheet and keep a status column by hand. With Neartail, you can use the Kanban board to view and manage your orders. Each order moves from one status to the next when you drag it. Even better, you can add as many statuses as you need, so the board matches the way you work.

Let's start. Create your form and follow the steps below.

Submit a test order

  • On the page that opens, click "Enter your form name". Type your form's name, click Generate and wait about a minute.
  • Check the outline it suggests and click Proceed.
  • Once you create the form, you will land on the form's "Edit" tab.
  • If it asks "Do you want to collect payment on form submit?", click No.
  • A new form has no orders, so submit one to see how this works. Click on "Share" tab

  • Submitted: If a user fills the form and submits it, these orders will be displayed under Submitted status. You can move a submitted order to Completed, Trash or any other custom status.
  • Paid: Once the payment is verified, the order will be displayed under Paid status. This status is displayed once you enable payments.
  • Completed: Once you have completed the order submitted by the user, you can move it to Completed status.
  • Trash: You can move redundant orders to Trash to delete these orders. Orders in Trash will not be included in the Reports.
