How to add a quick navigation menu for the category pages?

This is a common question from grocers and small shops with long product lists. For example, you might put your products on separate pages by category, such as vegetables and fruits. Google Forms can send people to a page based on an answer, but it has no menu, so your customers click Next and Back through each page and someone who only wants fruits has to pass everything else. With Neartail, you can add your category pages to a quick navigation menu. Your customers can jump to any category and pick what they want. Even better, the form adds up what they picked across every page, so they see one total at the end.

Let's start. Create your order form and follow the steps below.

How to add a category page to the quick navigation menu?

  • On the page that opens, click "Enter your form name". Type your form's name, click Generate and wait about a minute.
  • Check the outline it suggests and click Proceed.
  • Once you create the form, you will land on the form's "Edit" tab. If it asks "Do you want to preview this form?", click No.

  • If your products are all on one page, click on the last product of your first category, then click Add page in the toolbar on the right. Everything below it moves to a new page
  • Enter the name of the next category in the Page title box, in place of Untitled Section. Your menu shows this name and your form's title for the first page
  • Do the same for each category
  • Reload the page, because Edit categories is not there until you do
