How to add a fixed shipping fee regardless of the order amount or delivery zones?

This is a common question from small shops and home food businesses who deliver their own orders. For example, you might charge the same delivery fee on every order and your customers want to see that fee and the final amount before they order. A Google Form cannot add a fee to the order amount, so you add it by hand and tell each customer the total later. With Neartail, you can add a Delivery Fee with a fixed amount. Your customers will see the fee and the total amount to be paid in the form. Even better, the whole order reaches you at once, so you don't have to go back to them in chat.

Let's start. Create your order form and follow the steps below.

How to setup a fixed shipping fee?

  • On the page that opens, click "Enter your form name". Type your form's name, click Generate and wait about a minute.
  • Check the outline it suggests and click Proceed.
  • Once you create the form, you will land on the form's "Edit" tab. If it asks "Do you want to preview this form?", click No.

  • Click on the Delivery Fee question, then click Add price field. Select Net Amount and click Next
The Add price field list, with Net Amount selected and Next marked
  • Check that Insert after says Delivery Fee. Select Standard calculation using NETTOTAL() and click Next
